Drop-In: Arts-Rec x Nike SB: Dunk Low Pro + Air Trainer 1 Capsule

Arts-Rec x Nike SB: Dunk Low Pro + Air Trainer 1 Capsule

Arts-Rec is the latest skate shop to join Nike SB’s growing legacy of community-driven collaborations. Founded by pro skater Kellen James in San Diego, Arts-Rec brings its perspective to two silhouettes: the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro and the Nike SB Air Trainer 1. Both pairs reflect the shop’s connection to skate culture, art, and the Southern California landscape.

Founded in 2018 by pro skater Kellen James, Arts-Rec Skateshop has become a cornerstone of San Diego’s skate and streetwear scene. With two locations—Barrio Logan and Chula Vista—the shop carries top-tier brands like Nike SB, Stüssy, FA, and Carhartt WIP, while also serving as a cultural hub for the local community. From skate jams to art shows, Arts-Rec isn’t just retail—it’s a platform for skaters, artists, and the city itself.

Innercity Skateshop is proud to carry both shoes from the capsule exclusively—available in-store starting Saturday, July 19.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Arts – Rec”

  • Colorway: Khaki / Amber Brown / Rough Green / Rust Pink / Black / Sail

  • Price: $139.99

This Dunk features a mix of suede and leather with leopard-style paneling across the upper. The combination of fall-inspired tones gives it a layered, muted look without losing impact. Rust Pink overlays at the toe and heel add contrast, while "Arts-Rec”  branding is stitched into the heel tab. Artwork is also printed under the tongue. The side of the shoe reads “for recreational use.”

Performance-wise, it’s a standard SB Dunk Low build: padded tongue, cupsole construction, and Zoom Air heel unit. Durable, skateable, and wearable straight out of the box.

Nike SB Air Trainer 1 “Arts – Rec”

  • Colorway: Limestone / Pink Quartz / Earth / Dusty Peach / Black / Desert Sand

  • Price: $134.99

The Air Trainer 1 is the unexpected part of this capsule. Originally designed for multisport use, this version gets the SB treatment with updated materials and a skate-ready outsole. The colorway leans into desert tones, matching the Dunk’s palette with a more tonal, utility-forward execution.

It features layered suede, Arts-Rec branding on the forefoot strap, and reflective detailing throughout.  Though not a traditional skate shoe, this version is functional and built for crossover wear.
